Well 2020 was a strange year for everyone, and unfortunately quite a few of us lost friends or family to Covid. Hopefully we can pull out of it this year with the vaccine and all start living life again as we want to. I didn't get out with my camera as much last year for obvious reason, but here are some of my fave shots from when I did get out.
I spent a lot of time with this Barn Owl just after Lockdown 1, when I would visit every evening and watch her collect voles for her young. I got a spot where I knew which branch she went to so hid in a bush opposite, and put a flash in another bush pointing at the branch. Luckily she went on this branch nearly every night over a month and I got some nice shots, here are 3 from the set.
I only got to 1 gig before Lockdown, Six Little Fingers, and 1 model shoot, 60's retro on my scooter!
Norwich juvenile Peregrine 'TC', which was unfortunately killed in a plane strike. Short Eared Owl on the marsh.
2 shots of a different Barn Owl that hunted in the afternoon for a while.
