Motor bikes and close encounters with Lions!       Well a very hectic start to the month of June 2023, firstly a 3 day trip to the Isle of Man to see the first 2 days of TT racing, then away for 12 days to the Zimanga game reserve in South Africa for more amazing experiences photographing the wildlife.   It was out first visit to the TT, and what an experience to get that close to the riders as they flash past at 190 MPH, between stone walls! Indian Adventures.

...trees and wildlife, so was nice to get our first taste. Towards the end of the 4 hour drive we saw our first Tiger, relaxing by the river, named Kartik and a T number of T121, a male around 9 years old. Over the course of the next 5 days we had a morning and evening game drive, and saw a few different tigers, some briefly, but on 3 occasions we had great sighting and got some good photos. The first was when we came across T2505 hunting on the second afternoon drive. New wildlife Art Collection, No 1 & 2.

...I am pleased to introduce the first 2 pictures in my new 'British wildlife' collection of initially 8 images. These are taken from my original photo's, and then given a new dimension with some computer wizardry to produce stunning images of our wonderful wildlife. Precious moments with a Vixen.

...d a local wildlife centre to ask if i could give her some treatment, but they said I would need to try to trap her and take her there as it would need a course of antibiotics. Unfortunately I was going on a weeks holiday the next day, so bought a big bag of dried dog food and left it near the den to help her through the week. When i returned the food had gone, I didn’t see her for a couple of days but the food kept disappearing, then on the third night i was back she came out when she heard me arrive, and eat some food straight away.       She looked a lot more bright and breezy than before, but had a nasty gash on her face. Diving Kingfishers.

...Diving Kingfishers.   Ever since i got into photography about 12 years ago, I have been interested in showing something different from wildlife shots, and as I got more experienced I wanted to show Kingfishers diving with the motion caught as well.
