Welcome to my photography website, thanks for taking time to browse! I have been interested in wildlife and photography for many years, but only got serious about it when I got my first DSLR in 2011. Since then I have learnt as much as I can about the job and gradually improved, as well as acquiring more and more kit! (Current kit is Canon EOS R, and Canon 1Dx) I have had many pictures and features published in papers and magazines, as well as some success in photography competitions. I have a small studio at home as well as a hide in my garden for garden birdlife as I expand my working services offered, and do sport and wedding shoots as well. In Feb 2020 I was awarded the Licentiate Royal Photographic Society distinction after having a panel of 10 photos assessed looking at photo skills and technical ability.
Originally from the midlands, I have lived in Norfolk for the last 25 years with my wife Helen and daughter Ellie.
I also work as a freelance motor racing engineer, as in my early days I was a driver in the junior ranks, winning races and championships until the sponsorship ran out!
After working for various teams in international motorsport, myself and 2 partners set up our own team to run in the Grand Prix support series GP2 in 2005. The team ran for 10 years, winning many races and championships and setting off many drivers to F1.
In 2018/19 I worked for a new team in the World endurance championship 'Super Season', and in our first season we won the World Championship in GTE AM class and also the Le Mans 24 Hour race!
Motor Sport is still a part of my life, but photography is gradually starting to take over!
